Slaf with dach and Laine would also be a big boys line and a dangerous one. - WaterBoy
Yeah, but I think they'd want one of Laine or Slaf with CC and Zuk. |

Fun day to wake up a Habs fan.
Have not said that too often the last few years.... and it is not even hockey season. |

What I love about this acquisition is that it frees up Caufield from the hard matchups. Both players will be scoring shiploads - WaterBoy
Exactly. Should everything click, the potential is there for having a top six that is well above average. |

Both Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway have been informed they are St. Louis Blues. Oilers do not match.
Done deal.

You just need to find the perfect middle between Smilie posting 1 blog every 7 years and Hains who would post a new blog every time HuGo preformed a bodily function |

Well the way I see it, I don't really need to post a blog informing people about the trade. Pretty sure you're aware of it and I'm not interested in just vomiting the news.
I just enjoy sharing an opinion on different situations related to hockey and the Habs. I feel like it's far more interesting content.
Maybe it won't last, I'm just having fun with it really.

Yeah its not like we are not talking about the trade anyway. A blog from time to time is already much better than no blog in 2 months |

The key is Dach staying healthy. Same thing could be said about Laine but we could deal with Laine out. |

I feel like the overall situation of the Habs hasn't changed.
Injuries will dictate how well they perform.
The best case scenario just got better with Laine in the lineup.

Can they wait the start of the season and putting Price on LTIR or they have to clear cap space now? Cant they be over 10% during the summer?
Pretty sure Hughes does not make that trade if the Habs cant afford it |

You could say they added Dach and Laine to the lineup, given how little Dach played last year.
Big boost, if as you say, they both stay healthy.
