Trade for Askarov and his new neck tat - AGalchenyuk27
asking price seems to be a bit too high, otherwise he would already have been traded.
let them keep him, noone is desperate for a rookie goalie, especially in August.

Unless it involves trading Dvorak (or another contract), I think the Habs are done for the summer.

They don't even have to trade anyone at the moment, they can send on paper a couple guys to Laval to be cap compliant with Price on the roster the day before the the season starts then after the Leafs game, put Price on LTIR and call back those guys. That way they don't lock in their cap situation and can benefit from having the cap space from Price contract for the whole season.
They would need to go down to a 20 men roster for the Leafs game then right after call back a couple guys that were sent down.
HuGo can afford to be patient until they get the value they want for the assets they are open to move

I know they do not need to trade anyone, but trading someone like Dvorak would probably make the line-up more cohesive.
I mean, I guess they could trade Evans as well, but I like that guy.

They wont trade somebody just to trade somebody. Pretty sure they want Newhook on the wing. They wont trade a center right away, they are thin at that position.
