Good on Jessie. She is basically a lock for the final now. Would be legitimately awesome to see an American sweep at the US Open |

Is it a good question though?
Sabres amped up their development camps, and all we saw was more injuries. - Lunaion
Like any good data scientist, dig deep to find the causes.
I'd say the Boys were very lax in off season training and when "Amped-up Time" came, they weren't equipped physically to deal with it.
Furthermore, when they couldn't win two in a row, they were so mentally weak they couldn't overcome it but a couple of times.
Keep asking away, you're getting closer to the truth.
These guys are far superior to you and me and the rest of the clown fan base..yet, compared to their proper competition they fail fail fail.
Maybe try something other than the same old same old. |

They're all physically fit athletes but they're mentally soft and were fed a bunch of bullpoop excuses by the former captain who had one foot out the door after cashing his final Terry check. It seems like the majority of them will once again blame the fans when they face any adversity unless old, tired Lindy can get through to them

Not disputing that compared to the vast, vast majority of the world.
Against the other elite players, I'll happily stick to nope...soft players afraid of hitting and getting hit...doing the physical aspects against their peers.
I stated that concept in my post, you may have missed it. |

Did I say we don't have elite players though?
No, no I did not.
Probably 1 in Dahlin, and very very good in Tage. Can Tage get there, certainly possible. Maybe Power gets there too, but he has a way to go IMO.

Tage was 60th in scoring for centers behind the likes of Casey, Yegor Sharangovich
and Sean Monahan
Dahlin was 10th in scoring for D men
and these guys were not locked up long term for their defensive game
could be a long season if Lindy ain't "the" guy

Ron Rolston - was the OG USNTDP background
Ted Nolan - brought back the nostalgia
Dan Bylsma - because he knows how to win
Phil Housley - because he played great as a Sabre
Ralph Krueger - to bring synergy
Don Meatball - to call synergy the collective
Lindy Ruff - because he answered the phone |

All I can say is that Lindy better light a fire under their azzes or he can just go away and retire. He is getting a second chance to do it right, and hopefully he will take full advantage of it.

Meh.
Lindy will be fine, likely pretty good with his system, in-game adjustments and tactics.
His major fault is his leaning heavily on his vets...but who are their vets...at forward: Tage, Tuch, Greenway, Zucker and the 4th line.
Benson, Peterka, Cozens, Quinn and McLeod are your younger forwards.
So outside Zucker, for scoring he is likely forced to go relatively young, depending on how you view Tage and Tuch ( " middle-aged?)" Defensively at forward your likely looking at Tage, Tuch, Greenway, Cozens and Quinn as becoming "relied upon".
I'd say this season is all about player buy-in and accountability Moreno that worrying about Lindy. |

Ok, who we rooting for tonight?
I suspect the majority are rooting for the Ravens. Is that the right strategy though?
My Logic:
Chiefs are winning their Division anyway. Ravens likely are fighting Cinci and the Brownies for the title with the other battling the AFC conference for Wild Card spots.
I'm skeptical about the Bills winning the East to eliminate the Wild Card battle.
Therefore, I'm rooting for the Chiefs. Go Mahomies...for this week only. |

Good stuff, really pretty goal.
That was Quinn and Peterka right?
If I'm correct, sadly they may not be on the same line too much.
Hopefully lots of great chemistry with Tage and Tuch |
