As just mentioned with @TheRog590, sounds like Stanley Cup champion Steven Lorentz is joining Toronto on a PTO

Another 4th liner???
We need a 2LW or 3C unless the kid line works as posted above, then just a 2LW. IMHO |

On the Leafs, he'll have 230 PIMs in 40 games. |

In theory, they could invite 1,000 PTOs to camp. |

Stuff I saw said if he came it wouldn’t be a PTO. Standard contract or nothing. I’d go for the nothing option myself. |

6'4 / 210 - hits frequently and sometimes hard. Not much of a fighter, but he'll drop them if he has to. He has a consistent record of more takeaways than giveaways and doesn't draw a lot of penalties while doing it. In short: he's a more effective 4th liner than Ryan Reaves and might provide grit and grind if we want to increase our bottom 6's physical presence without drawing penalties to do so.
At the very least he's worth a look on a PTO.

I'd sign him today if you guaranteed he'd take Reaves' roster spot. |

Hey Cupsie, how's your day going?
DJT stock has dropped 8.36% (so far) today - that means the Fanta Menace has lost about a fifth of a billion dollars today (once again, so far). |

I hope it isn't to select James Hagens with the 1st overall - Leafs don't need another undersized forward. |

Johnson has taken 515 face offs in 149 games in the last three years. Max "not a centre" Domi took 452 last year alone. I don't think he's a centre anymore at this stage of his career. |

34 year old midget, Tyler Johnson, signed a PTO with the Bruins. We have enough undersized and easy to push around guys. Even if Lorenz sucks he's more what we need in the bottom-6, I think.

The guy is not the player he was, but still has some value. I'm kinda surprised he had to go the PTO route. I'd rather the Lightning have him over Sheary or Atkinson. Leafs need help on wing, they shoulda gave him the PTO and not Boston.

He's been a guy on a team to hit cap floors for years now and only been traded as a cap dump. I don't think he actually has value.
