Les Canadiennes de Montréal would have been perfect. - fidopro
very unoriginal imho, but still better than la Victoire, that's for sure.

as far as i can tell, i'm getting all the same stuff. all my local channels, all the espns, the TNTs and channels like that. the $11 gets me a bunch of weird sports channels (the tennis channel lol) but it also gets me the NFL redzone channel which is worth millions of dollars to me.
i still haven't figured out what the downside is if there even is one. i'm getting all the same stuff i had before, plus a poop ton of other things, all for like $80 or $90 per month. - kicksave856
as long as you can get a good image quality without any lagging, that sounds decent. |

The more ready of them will be at camp vs better competition but I get fans are starving for hockey - deadpoulet
oh it's all to be taken with a grain of salt, wether it's a rookie matchup or pre-season games, but with guys like Reinbacher, Hutson and Mailloux playing I'd watch for sure to see what they can do.

All the guys you mention will be at the big camp and should see a lot of action there. But eh I'm glad hockey is back don't worry |

everything's been great so far. the fire tv got weird and hid my apps but i found a way to get to them in the settings menu so i can just launch them from there.
i can also apparently watch tv on up to 3 total devices so i can watch on my laptop or phone too. |

yes, I'm aware lol... all I'm saying is that if the rookie games are streamed online I'll probably watch them, if that doesn't interest you at all that's cool.

Criteria that went into selecting PWHL team names and logos:
-Does the name inspire pride of place?
-Fan connection.
-Identity possibilities.
-Legal – name that was unique to PWHL.
I hope y'all feel pride and connection, and any identity possibilities. |

here I have TVA Sports in my channel package for cable, but the mother (frank)ers charge you extra if you want to stream it on your PC or phone, as if paying for the TV broadcast wasn't enough...

I've heard the league hired some kind of firm from New-York to come up with the logos and names...?

It is what it is... at the end of the day, the product on the ice is really the only thing that matters.
I thought they had an up-and-down 1st season, struggled with consistency. Will be interesting what season 2 looks like.

oh I agree, 100%, but from a marketing perspective the names and logos become very important, especially for a new league that wants to establish itself and have sustained growth.
three of the logos are basically just a letter, and the Toronto one looks like a weird illuminati cult symbol... to each his own but I find they're rather poopty. oh well. |

the logo, yes, I agree.
the name though, I simply don't get it, very dumb imho. can't wait to hear anglophones try to pronounce it, at least that should make it somewhat interesting lol.
