Junk. Tv's from Costco are all made up of different components and usually have a Costco model number.

I watched 2 movies (i was SO excited) and fell asleep through the 3rd movie. I woke up to my Yamaha receiver making a clicking noise as the tv screen was pitch black and sending weird signals to my receiver and made it keep switching inputs.

Apparently, it was quite common. What a disaster.

yeah, I did shop online, Costco, BestBuy, Amazon... but at the end of the day I bought it where I always go. the same store my father used to go 50 years ago.
the rep knew, my customer# is 17k and now they are up to 200k.
worth it for a tv at that price imo.

I bought it while i was living in the States. It was $3600 USD and i got them down to $2600 plus free installation. So in canadian it would have been over $5k.

there's that, and there's also the fact that there will always be customers who simply were unlucky with their purchase and experienced something uncommon, or others that complain about everything all the time and make a fuss about any little thing. it's basically impossible to find a product that has zero negative reviews, you have to look at how it's received overall.

I did hesitate, the QLED 8k was really nice too, even clearer, but 8K... (I won't live long enough to see 8K content) and it was 3500 instead of 2600.

yes but Matheson and Savard aren't top pairing guys either on a good team... we've been over all of this anyway, a bunch of times lol.

we just really don't see the same thing. personally what annoys me in all of this is that habs fans have been complaining about coaches in MTL for decades now, and it's been a recycling carousel of the same old schmucks for years. the criticism that is left over is mainly due to the fact that the habs have literally never been through a rebuilding process in their entire history, and fans simply aren't accustomed to that sort of thing, imho.
