I was confused (I know, that poop never happens to me, right?) about the official rookie status of a player lol
- Pat1993

one of the ruskies came over and won the calder in the 80s when they were like 31 years old. sergei makarov, maybe?

that sounds fun.

I certainly don't like his comments when he threw his teammates under the bus, and neither did management probably, he better be showing off his skills at camp.
- Pat1993

I agrEE! Shut the (frank) up and play the game. Look after yourself and leave everyone else out of your opinions. He better back that poop up with his play, or else HE GONE!!

could be a matter of "it's not what I actually meant" sort of thing, but it sure isn't a good look lol.

anyway he's only 20 years old, I don't even want to know the stupid poop I said at that age considering the stupid poop I'm still saying now, so we can give him a chance I guess.

yeah, well most of the young better forwards are already with the big club, and with Demidov stepping in next year the top 6 should be really taking shape. plus they have an abundance of dmen, so I'm not too worried they'll make that forward prospect pool a little thicker pretty soon.

That's why he'd be a throw-in in a bigger trade perhaps.....

Hopefully it was taken out of context and not just a poopty attitude.

And I don't even wanna know what I've said at that age as I'm still immature as (frank). LOL

what he said was : When I was trying to create something, my teammates were there a bit late and that frustrated me slightly, but I had to get over it.

if you translate the Slovak article it seems to be what he said, although the information in it could always be false/miscontrued I guess, it's just that nothing of the sort has been confirmed from Mesar or the habs.

yeah that doesn't sound great. why would he say that? never mention your teamates or coaches when you're being questioned on your own performance. it's never a good look and can't really do you any good, only bad.

that's where one needs to consider that the best players are supposed to make the others around them slightly better... it might be a cliche but it's still true, especially at that level.

indeed.

also, if you're questioned about a good performance, mention your teammates and coaches. when you're questioned about a bad performance the best thing to do is to not make excuses at all much less mention your teammates or coaches.

that's a lot of noise for a player who will probably never see the NHL ice
