I was confused (I know, that poop never happens to me, right?) about the official rookie status of a player lol
- Pat1993

It's OK, Pat. You're just a grizzled old veteran who just happened to make a rookie mistake.

It's just that our minds begin to go the older we get.

You're no exception.

You are.

That's it. Thanks.

I've been going through a lot of this lately:

It's purrrrrfect for the making through the Dog Days of a Hot Southern Summer. But I kind of feel like it's a good sipper for throughout the fall and winter... OK, also in the spring, making it a nice year-rounder to stock.

So now I'm just imaging how it compares to the "Runner of the woods," and gotta see how I can get my hands on some of the latter. (I might need someone to arrange a drop-off near the centerline of Rue Canusa.)

I've also been getting me some of this now that fall/Halloween is nearer:

Almost like having a candy/caramel apple in liquid form.

hmm, that Proper Twelve whiskey does sound intriguing, although the way you're describing it I mind find it too sweet...

No no no

I just meant that it's not like drinking apple juice that makes you get drunk (think like maybe hard cider that's got more ABV). Instead this is nicely balanced. You get the usual flavors of a whiskey (including caramel) plus the perfect hint of apples. Plus since it's a triple distilled Irish whiskey, it's real smooth, so it's easy going down*.

Somehow were I to try to add some apple juice to a plain whiskey, it wouldn't be the same.

*: That's what she said!

and LCBO doesn't either lol.

it sucks that there are a lot of products that aren't available here but at the same time it's fine, personally I find there's usually enough variety and new products in store that I can try out.
