bah, that poop happens basically every year, there's always a gem or 2 that fall off the charts for some reason and then surprise everyone.

Yep, their goalie and Minton have been excellent for the Leafs.

It's like the old scout in Detroit would say about they're late great picks "we aren't much better if we passed on them 6 times too" or something like that

there's that too, most drafts if you do them retrospectively would look much different in the top 60 players

The guy is 6'7''...I'm guessing the players don't see much net when they shoot

I saw him get pinned along the boards by two guys (code), and he still got out with the puck. My only concern with him is going to be when he needs to box out players in front of the net.

They scored their 3 goals on the PP and the other one in the shootout (on a pick up goalie). Other than the Minton line (and their goalie), they didn't have much.

Same for us, I was not impressed with our offense.
On the positive side, I like what I saw from our D prospects ... in my fefan's opinion, I think Mailloux will make the Habs, they traded Kovacevic to make room for him on the RHD.

As for Reinbacher (needs AHL tuning), Engstrom (needs AHL tuning, I liked him too) and Hutson (Wow), I think they will go to Laval for them to get used to play in a pro league. How long they will be there will depend on how they perform.

JMO

EDIT: I predict Reinbacher (RHD) will eventually replace David Savard (RHD) when he is traded before the playoffs.

Yeah, but he is so small, there is lots of room.

huh, my size seems to vary a lot depending on the situation, by your standards I thought being smaller than me was molecularly impossible.
