I'm there.
Two edibles and some kratom to start the day.
I have to mow the lawn later, but I am 100% free to annoy everyone in my life after that.
I pulled the plug on my grow early this year. It was just one of those awful periods where everything damped off, turned out male, or died of something weird.
I may try one of those new-fangled "photoperiod" strains they are pushing now, just for poops and giggles. Maybe nature is telling me it's time to experiment with something new. These old landrace strains can be finicky.
Edit : poop just started kicking in. Gottdamm I love the mother-effing LEAFS. I wish the Lightning could be that dang sexy. No mustache having, no big hat wearing, has beens.

Cover song of the week. This one was covered by many including Taj Mahal, Tom Petty and George Thorogood. Nice version by Gram Parsons and the Flying Burrito Brothers of the song originally recorded in 1963 by Dave Dudley

Good morning folks. Saw an article regarding McCabe today, suggesting the leafs should resign him at $5 mill a year. Thoughts? I’m hoping that Tre waits to see how he fits under Berube first, not just price wise but if he’s worth resigning at all. They aren’t getting him for anywhere near $2 million that’s for sure.

Your weed must be incredible if you are a former Lightning fan who is envious of the Toronto Maple Leafs.

Most projections are saying the cap will go to $92M next year. The big three players to re-sign would be Knies, Marner and McCabe, probably in that order. I like McCabe, he will get $5M AAV, if not from the Leafs then elsewhere. Think of what the Leafs were paying TJ Brodie and Chicago just coughed up $3.75M for him.

I’m thinking roughly the same thing. However if he’s only used as a bottom pairing guy with Benoit $5 mill is too much. I do think Daily Faceoff is wrong and those two won’t be paired up this year though. Flip McCabe and Liljegren. Pairing up OEL and Liljegren is begging for pain, that pairing would be a defensive mess. Give OEL McCabe and put Liljegren with Benoit on the bottom pairing. Just because people like McCabe and Benoit together doesn’t make them the best choice.

I am comfortable with McCabe at 4M. 5 seems a little risky. I know he will likely get that elsewhere, but the Leafs need to be super efficient with the rest of the roster after the big guns get their money. Maybe Benoit takes another step and essentially replaces what McCabe brings to the table for next to nothing.

Watching some highlights....
Knies, is this years Hyman. Book it. Kid is ready for a break out year. Not 50g Hyman, or maybe not, but a kick ass season is coming this year for him.
He's gonna prove to be a real Skalapy approved thic neck.

They can’t and won’t keep everyone who is costly… and when it comes to having a new coach, I wonder who it will be.

His current salary is actually $4million per, half of it is retained with his former team.
So $5 million per aint that bad I guess
