According to NHL.com, EP has 24 points in 30 playoff games (8g, 16a, +2). Not bad overall. - bloatedmosquito
Let's see if he keeps that up?

I'd like to see him perform in post season. - VanHockeyGuy
Yes, of course, but you said “bounce back”. Which implies he was good, and then poor, for simplicity sake. The kid had a good year, clearly he could’ve been better in the playoffs but it was his first taste of playoff hockey. Let’s hope he grows from that and plays better. |

Playoffs matter I think - CanuckDon
Playing subpar in the playoffs doesn’t mean he had a bad year, but yes, let’s hope he’s better in the post season. |

Hurt during the playoffs. Things won't get easier for him when the stakes are high.

Yes, it just means he's Swedish. |

Or even a full season, instead of partial seasons. Lefty and the guzzlers need to take off their blinders. |

So now the one season he significantly fell off is a trend.

He sucked goat balls from just before the all-star break, until the teams last playoff game. |

Imo, he has had 1 good full season, the rest he has been inconsistent, just like last season. |

Weren't most of those false numbers from the play-in thingy that most Canucks players don't consider to be playoffs?/ - Reubenkincade
True, but the +2 would suggest he's not costing his team goals against 5v5, especially when he's not scoring himself. Just trying to find positives instead of being a complaining little bi tch. |

It's almost like those years you are talking about is of a player's first few years of his career or something.
How many players start off with 100 point seasons and don't look back? Truly generational players and they are so rare but keep that as the bar for the players you don't like. Everyone is well aware of your child like bias'. |

Did you watch the playoffs this year? 1 goal for $11 plus million a year is disgraceful |

I still find it hilarious when many Canucks fans will go on and on and on over how bad so and so is, yet when some fans complain about the little darlings of the club, that person either has no hockey knowledge or is a constant complainer.
Hypocrisy at its finest. |

Quite the time machine you have. How did we do in the 2025 playoffs other than Petey only getting 1 goal?
So now it's 1 goal for 11+ mil even though he hasn't played a single game on his 11.6 contract.

You are picking the wrong person to go with that narrative. I will on occasion female dog about a player or make corrections on these wild stories you and a couple make on here but I do not have whipping boys. Besides, that contradicts this whole Canuck fanboy theme you guys like to label on me.

What I find funny Ruby is how vocal you were about Nighthawk spamming the (frank) out of this board all season. He's put all that away until he see's how Petey is doing in the upcoming season. That is totally rational so I give credit where credit is due.
Now you are the one that can't give it a rest or at least wait to see. Non stop Pouty wah, guzzler, slurper, fanboy wah wah... Petey never started his career with 100 points and maintained it wah wah wah....
Amazing how things work out around here. |

Right or wrong. Vasily Podkolzin being an example. |
