The Dolphins haven't been relevant for decades. I don't even see Dolphins stuff down here in Florida. I see merch from almost every college and pro team in the state, but I never see Dolphins flags, shirts, stickers, car tag frames, etc.

You don't like the player and that's fine.
I'll just bow out of this conversation vs it spiral - agree to disagree and we will see how it plays out.
Have a good day. - Snot Dillingham
Lol well played, I don't see him as a top line LW on most NHL teams.
Guess we will see.

I know you'll have numbers to the contrary because you're the king of numbers, but I refuse to believe that even now in his dotage that OEL is not as good defensively as Timmins. At the very least his skating and decision making should make up for Timmin's lack thereof which are his worst traits. - AdamFrench
I really don't have numbers - I just like how he executes at the line to prevent zone entries by closing gaps, using his stick and driving guys towards the wall. He has enough foot speed to keep them on the outside and most numbers do indicate that he's been effective at it while often playing with less skilled linemates (often being deployed in the bottom pair with the bottom-6 out in front of him) albeit typically against weaker competition as well.
I don't find OEL is really good at closing gaps nor is his stick that good nor active. He's a lot more passive in his d-zone coverage - similar to Rielly - take up position, root in your zone and hope they make a mistake and try to prevent passes through your zone. I will admit I haven't seen a whole lot of OEL in the past 2-3 seasons, so if he's grown in his d-zone play I don't have much first-hand awareness of it.

You think heād have to buy one?
He wonāt be a leaf. The leafs havenāt mentioned him directly at all, nothing whatsoever. Itās just the desperate media who brings him up. - Dozzer
I like Dozzer, but when he's wrong he's spectacularly wrong. This was regarding Hakanpaa literally a day (maybe two) before he signed. |

The good news is we have both (for now). Hopefully Berube's system can bring out the best in both, and fingers crossed Timmins will get opportunities to play. |

Guys, I know for a fact the Leafs are going to win the Cup this year. I admit in previous years I was pretending to know, but this year I just know. |

I said if he couldnāt get the bonuses while living in Arizona he wouldnāt unless paid even more.
Players care about their take home $ not their cap hit. |

I never said what heās suggesting but nice try.
Players donāt give a rats ass about their cap hit, itās their take home they care about, so if he couldnāt get the signing bonus while living under far less taxation heād either cost way more or would sign down in the low taxation states. |
