I would like to agree. But where does he slot..

Peterka-Tage-Tuch
Zucker-Cozens-Quinn
Benson-McLeod-Greenway
Malenstyn-Laff-NAK
Krebs

Seems like the roster is in place after the signing today

Move one of the bottom 4, slot Greenway down to 4th line and You can have Zucker or Kulich on either middle line?

- DirtyDan

wait til you redo it with 3 goalies on the roster

Quinn Cozens Kulich and Greenway and that whole 4th line can sub out each other. They all bring the same facets

I hope Kulich really took to Heart his net front game like he said during the offseason, because if he did with that Shot of his. He could become a very deadly player.

I would not want Quinn or Cozens coming out of the lineup for Kulich

Not talking them, Greenway and the 4th line. Zucker drops to the 3rd with McLeod who with his puck retrieval skills could make Zucker half way dangerous again.

Isn't Zucker a decent retrieval guy? Either way, I wouldn't mind a Benson-Mcleod-Zucker line.. looks pretty decent on paper.

Kulich-Cozens-Quinn could be dangerous

Lindy doesn't want to be that young. He ripped up Kev's plan.
- Lunaion

That’s a good point, you need vets in the line up.

I feel like Zucker has 1 foot out the door already.

Zucker wanted a top 6-9 opportunity. Said he didn't like his defensive role in Arizona last year. Said he felt he had more to give I believe.

Great having a new coach and not knowing for sure how he's going to plug things together. Donnie was overly committed to some things that just didn't work.
- Lunaion

He was what they needed the 1st 2 years of his reign.
Last season he was worse than abysmal.

Lindy will improve the team through system improvements, in-game adjustments and accountability.

Will be fun to watch... just don't think Adams has done enough to get them there is a very competitive Division.. no giveme points.

I don't know what I'm missing, apologies if I'm having a dumb moment.

https://frozenpool.dobber....com/players/peyton-krebs

This looks like 72:47 with JJP and Benson, CF% was 62%. That was his highest of any pairing. The Okposo/Girgs line was only down to 58.1% but they never scored once in 94:34 of time together, so they were basically creating perimeter shots and o-zone time.

I have been rooting for Krebs to break through, but honestly he doesn't offer up much over his distribution capabilities.
He is not fast, but plays aggressive, relentless. He doesn't take much crap, isn't afraid to push back hard. Those are his enduring Capabilities.
His shot is average speed wise, his shooting percentage is a average at 10% and he doesn't take enough shots. He doesn't play well on the wing, and his FO% at 46% isn't better than the other C's.
On the roster, he is literally block other prospects who could offer more.
Like I said, I want him to succeed, I just don't see it happening unless he somehow changes his game in a big way.

- IonSabres

I'd argue his skating is actually pretty good. He doesn't hit the high speeds (22+) but is in the 20s a lot, couple that with high work ethic and there's the bones there for a good checking forward at least. I do agree, his bulldog attitude makes me like him more, but let's face it...he isn't a tough guy, at most he's a pest.

And that's fair with the FO%, prospect blocking and his production at wing thus far. That being said, watching the tape (which I think is more important than any stat) he showed flashes of high end distribution skill. That is valuable with shooters like Quinn, Tage, Tuch, Kulich and Dahlin in the fold. I really think we're pleasantly surprised by him this year, but, as always, time will tell.

Agreed, passing the puck around the boards in the o-zone for 8 1/2 out of 14 minutes doesn't help anything. It's just dead time.

We found the NST Team report isn't that accurate for some reason when it comes to lines.

Surprised me. I consider them the gold standard for this stuff.

Weird, I wonder why it's so far off. You have any better links? I'd enjoy not talking out my ass all the time, that may help lol.

Question, that may affect this but I may be misremembering:

Isn't Rosen waiver eligible now? If so, we might want to adjust these. They aren't giving him away.

He would not have to clear to begin the season, no?

Be nice to have capfriendly

Don't use the team report in NST when looking at lines. Go to the line tool under players

Rosen signed his ELC at 19, so he is exempt for 4 years. This should be year 3.

I thought someone said Rosen was up. I thought he'd need to play 80 games already to be there, but not sure where to confirm.
