Quinnfan has bashed McLeod relentlessly - Boss34
Did he bash him or just telling his thoughts from watching him. |

Quinnfan has bashed McLeod relentlessly
(The trade anyways) - Boss34
Think he even makes 30pts next year? Keep in mind he got his highest total, of 30, last season on the SC final Oilers.
If not, how can you not have an issue with that trade? |

I did say he may be a 4C in reality. So a 10th forward?
From what I've seen from him after rewatching Oilers tape, he's very fast, forechecks well and is good defensively. However, his hands aren't great, doesn't have a good shot and passing can be very spotty. I think it's why his metrics look good, but the results don't mirror. - QuinnFan
Turns 25 in a couple days, said he was working on his shot a lot this off season, hopefully hands and passing as well. He'll never be a top 6 scorer but if he could get to 35-40+ pts with his defensive capabilities I think it was a solid trade. He should alleviate some of those defensive responsibilities from Cozens and Tage which is perfect IMO. |

If he can break 40 pts on the 3rd line, while continuing to deliver good defensive metrics, then it certainly isn't as horrid. But how confident are you that he will put up 33% more points on a significantly worse team? |

Depends on useage, linemates, etc. Not particularly confident with Greenway there but who knows.
I expect some growth though.

3rd line and no power play, Zucker and Greenway are most likely options.
If he's a 25pt player, which I think is highly likely, does that sour you on the trade? I'm just curious here. |

I'll blame his line mates and make some excuses going into next year
No but, I think it was necessary trade. Many reports Savoie's value just wasn't there. We needed a defensively responsible center who can win faceoffs. Even if he doesnt add to his total last year he should help Cozens and Tage focus more on the offensive side. |

Zucker I don't hate havent really seen what he's about but if they had acquired a real top 6 forward to push depth down the lineup he wouldn't be stuck playing with Greenway
I think a Benson McLeod kulich line could be interesting. Speed forechecking and tenacity with a sniper who hopefully finds his way to the net in the NHL |

Are you aware of any other sites that use that format? Ni liked it a couple years ago and am thinking of starting/suggesting one for the community I live in. - IonSabres
sounds like the site is too cheap to keep it going
why, no clue as it brings him hits |

I wouldn't mind seeing
Kulich-Cozens-Quinn
Benson-Mcleod-Zucker
or
Cozens-Mcleod-Quinn (Imagine the two-way game here) *chefs kiss*
Benson-Kulich-Zucker (See if Kulich can play the C position at an NHL level)

Fair enough. However, Savoie's value being low because he was stuck in juniors is more reason to keep rather than trade him. |

krebs is 16 months younger and the ppg between the 2 is minimal and mcleod was playing third line minutes with the oilers |

Not bad. I dont think McLeod is top 6 worthy but it does spread the wealth(what little we have) out
I want kulich to make it bad. I want to see what he's got and I think we need him to contribute in order to be decent to good
Unfortunately I see Greenway as a lindy veteran defensively responsible guy who will be glued to the 3rd line no matter who else is there

Top line PK who was on the ice for zero PP goals against in the playoffs. I’ll give you time to digest that.
Now, I think Adams failed miserably not getting a top 6 winger and I hope it doesn’t destroy the season |

He was worthy with Drais last year. 4th most minutes of any line on Edmonton was those 2 with Foegele.
Greenway is a problem for these lineups which is why I doubt we see Kulich till an injury occurs.

fifa.
Neuchev needs Rosen dishing him the puck in Roch. Helenius can use a year to get use to the NA ice.
