W1. Tampa
W2. * I have Buffalo but it could be anyone below. NYI and WSH made the playoffs last year but were not good seasons. Combined -54 goals on the season and had playoffs in their city is CRAZY
-----------
9th --- NY Islanders
10th -- Ottawa (on back of Ullmark)
11th -- Pittsburgh
12th -- Washington (hot start, horrible end
Tampa with Yzerman in their front office did much better at drafting than Yzerman in Detroit has done so far. Hedman+Stamkos is a better duo than Detroit had too.
Buffalo might have a strong defense. Potential is there.
Ottawa keeps making bad trades in acquiring DeBrincat and Chychrun then trading them away for poor returns. Will Ullmark follow suit?
Montreal is a huge market so no idea why they are a hard sell on rebuilding. They're doing a full rebuild now and look well on track to be contenders.
My question for the group is about Ottawa. With the talent they have, why have they been so inconsistent? Maybe they are a different team with Linus in net.

Ottawa has all the talent and no structure. If Green and Yeo can't get a working plan and complete buy in they'll spin their wheels and be out of it by American Thanksgiving as per the usual.
Ullmark will see what's what very quickly and could be moved at the deadline.
