preseason games ruining your day? hardly.
the eagles getting a punt blocked is more likely. - Gramps28
yeah I was kidding, besides I haven't checked the rosters but I'm pretty sure they could beat WAS, not that any of it really matters in the end.

for sure, especially the first games of the pre-season. teams usually have a more complete roster for the last couple of games.

Eagles can't be relied upon ... in Lords of the Rings why didn't they give Frodo and Sam a ride directly to Mount Doom instead of them having go through all that poop to get there?
Lions can always be relied to eat christians when asked to. - Garfield512
If they had attempted to fly, they would've been seen by the Eye. Sauron would have destroyed them, given his massive forces still inside Mordor and his ability to defend Mount Doom before the Eagles could have reached it.
Even if the Armies had come to the Gates of Mordor to "distract" Sauron, the eagles would have been spotted and intercepted, there were still Nazgul left in Mordor.
Secrecy and a small party was the only chance to make it to Orodruin.

I'm guessing that like in hockey, vets don't play all of them? no one wants to get injured during the pre-season...

There usually is one game where all the regulars will dress and play a few series. However, it's less and less a thing because there are vets who tear a peck or rupture an Achilles in the few snaps they'll play |

Florian is smaller but he doesn't shy away from playing physical either, and he's dropped the gloves a few times already. I don't really have any expectations but I'm really curious to see how he pans out, brothers playing on the same team is always a cool story. |

Curious to see if he'll play in the AHL or juniors this year. |
