Armia worked with a sports psychologist last season and it seemed to do wonders.

The toolset was always present, if he found a way to get his head in the right place and perform, we'd be fools to just hang on to the bad times.

He wouldn't be the first guy to figure things out in his life at 30 years old.

This being said, his performances this season will dictate his future. I wish him and us the best.

let see how the upcoming season unfolds for Yoel. if he plays well (like last year after xmas)... no problem.
talent and size.... can't turn this down if his mind is at the right place.

He's playing for a new contract ... if they offer him a new one it better be a SHORT termed one.

He sat on his fat deal for too long to trust him.

no, at this point it keeps my heart beating.

of course I wouldn't re-sign him to the same kind of term and money but I think he's a good veteran who's never been lazy but struggled with confidence issues, which he seemed to have seriously started working on last year. we'll see where he's at this season but I don't get all the hate to be honest.

well, it's easy (and understandable) to hate the guy, he was a no show for many years. was waived and sent to Laval, not a single GM claimed him...
but yes, everyone is entitled to a 2nd chance, seems like he took the right path. like you said let see how the next season goes.

meh, he's been a "no show" offensively, but he always brings the effort. if he didn't have the contract he did there would be barely any hate, same thing with most guys who have become scapegoats... except maybe for notable exceptions such as Gomez and Hoffman lol.
