Who is the top 6? Risto is a solid bottom pair player. To say otherwise is just showing hatred toward the player.

Not mention, if you wanna move him, you have no choice but to play him.

The latter comment is why Tortorella is an bumhole.

But that is not how he said it. Read HIM's transcription.

Brink with the Deslauriers group is no surprise. I expect him to not be in the starting lineup opening night.

Michkov’s best friend will be on the ice.

So was York and Sanheim. Means nothing. The 3rd RW spot is Brink's to lose.Unless someone blows Brink out of the water during camp hes going to be in the lineup.

Tippet, Konency, Michkov, Foerster, Hathaway and Brink are all natural right wings. It is likely one or two shift to the left but I think Brink is the odd man out.

I like Risto but you keep saying he’s our best defenseman like a maniac. He isn’t. I think it’s fair to say Risto has learned to adjust his game and I do like that he’s one of two defenders on this squad that has a physical element and I may even believe he deserves a look on the power play if Drysdale doesn’t improve but Risto does have flaws. He’s not this perfect defenseman that you’re making him out to be. The mistakes he does make can be ugly.

This is just a joke betewen MJL and myself. I like Risto and as I mentioned many times predicted he would be a better defenseman under Torts and Shaw. But the hatred for Risto is so intense on this forum, I just like to balance it out.

The 7th isn't up for grabs. Ristolainen should be the 7th defenseman.

He's not a better defenseman under Tortorella and Shaw. He's now a 3rd pair NHL defenseman when for most of his career he was a top 4 defenseman who had multiple 40 point seasons. There is no hatred. Only reality.
