The way they are addressing the media is very goofy. Why bother with having a 20min press conference about it if all they are going to do is dodge answering questions about it, the one's you do answer are vague af... and everyone in the end knows no more about wtf the injury is. I get it... it's a rare injury. What I don't get is why it's such a secret injury. Playoffs were over 2.5 month ago.... they don't feel obligated to just be straight about it, then just come out and say that they think it's best that we don't know... for what ever reason that may be.
At least Demko finally confirmed it has to do with his knee. A muscle attached to his knee I'm assuming. - boonerbuck

Who cares? They have been phenomenal. Stop whining, you sound like Pouty - CanuckDon
I'm glad you like the contract they pushed him to sign.
Funny how you sound. The thing you b!tch about the most on Petey is the clothes he wears and how he looks. You sound like a teenage girl with your beef about such nonsense. You can worry about what he wears this season. The rest of us will take care of the handwringing about whether he gets back on track or not.

I don’t believe I’ve ever complained about the clothes he wears. What a strange thing to say. You need to go for a walk and get some fresh air. You are getting crazier by the minute |

Whats the conspiracy theory? They are being very protective of information on this. That cannot be denied. So where is the theory? Its called a fact you sh!t for brains.
If you can't see anything but conspiracy issues, the issue is you.
Funny how Demko said "yeah" when asked if it was his knee a couple of days ago followed by some muscle comments.
Demko is a conspiracy theorist I guess. |

Sprong, JL and Sherwood (all right shots) seem to be more favored to ride the right side for Petey over left shot Hogs. Who will likely play with Suter. Keeping Bluegar with Garland. RT has to fit in a lot of new players so he will likely keep familiar lines together. - Quinn's Quest
Well said NFU do you think coach 'Tock' will use the term 'Likker' once he breaks the roster? Please advise. |

100 percent. The core Benning built is starting to show the leadership traits we all expected but it took some time. Big things are coming for this club in the next 3-4 seasons gonna be a wild ride. |

Thanks Mr. Newbury.
Read on Daily Hive that Kiefer Sherwood, Filip Hronek, and Nils Höglander are having exceptional camps. - bloatedmosquito
Hoglander is gonna score 30, if he isn't traded with Demko for Swayman. |

He's on his way. 24 goals last season all at even strength? Kid apparently really wants it. Good on him. |

Sorry Buddy, but group knots aren't my thing. I've already told you I'm not a fly fisherman. I'm straight. |

Doable if he plays more consistent. Plenty of TOI with Petey if he does. Going to be better top 6 depth with Debrusk added. Top 9 very deep & the 4th line upgraded very nicely. The farm will have some nice call ups when any injury hits. |

Seems unlikely without PP time.
Just looked at NHL stats from last year to check.
Only Ehlers and Hoglander were relatively close to scoring 30 last year(without PP goals). And i'm sure Ehlers gets PP time, but must have been snakebitten.
Nikolaj Ehlers - 82 GP: 25G 36A for 61pts, with 0 PPGs
Nils Hoglander - 80 GP: 24G 12A for 36pts, with 0PPGs
Next with most goals is Joel Armia (Mtl) 66GP 17g 8a for 25pts with 0PPG
The only one I could see with over 30 goals without many PPGs is:
Trevor Moore (LAk) 82gp 31G 26A 57pts with 2 PPGs
