Sorry, should have clarified cable modem, router and WAP. I want to send the combo unit back. Yes, it is coax, fiber is going to be a long way off in the future. - Fenrir

Maybe I've got the rose colored glasses on here but I feel like he could be more. Obviously Fox is our top pairing RD, but Mancini kind of seems like a combo of K'Andre and Schneider. - picklerick
Has really good skill set it seems, but do not want to jump the gun after the small sample size. Would be awesome tho if he cracks the top 4 at some point

That was like Sirius before I just dropped them altogether. I just had to call around renewal time every year and tell them I wanted to cancel my service and they'd drop it from like $300/year to $100/year - eichiefs9
I've kept Sirius for the bonfire and listening to hockey games. Now that Dan Soder left the bonfire, I may just drop it all together. Especially since I can stream the NHL games via their app anyway |

I have Sirius in both cars for 10/month and the app is free. When renewal time comes and they want to charge 30/month each I call and they knock it back down to 10. |

I've been doing that dance for years through 4 cars. Tired of having to initiate. I'm switching to Spotify for $11 a month and infinitely larger playlists.
Sirius isn't bad, but it's an expense I can live without. |

Sirius xm is the (frank)ing worst dude. Everytime I lease a car and get the whatever months free they start harassing me via snail mail. Eventually they send unmarked Manila envelopes with “urgent response required” on them - picklerick
I don't mind all that stuff honestly, I just think the product is generally unspectacular. Stern was initially the draw but his show is hot garbage and if I'm not listening to that I see no reason to flip around through 4000 stations when I can just play what I want to listen to on Spotify. Which, 99% of the time I'm in the car, is a podcast.
I chatted with someone online when I canceled my service and the girl tried so hard to keep me I think they ended up offering me something like $1/mo for the year and I told her I wasn't interested in the service even if it were free. |

Same.
I do like XM comedy channels for long trips with the wife. |

I hear that. I'm pretty sure there is comedy on Spotify as well, but I don't listen to comedy in the car really ever, so don't hold me to that.
For me it just came down to me realizing that if I'm going to pay for something, I'd rather pay for the thing that lets me choose what I listen to. |

I’m gonna say there’s about 10 million daily listeners that disagree with this. Just about every major comedian kisses his ass.

I signed up when Howard switched to Sirius in 2005. Once he stated to do a 3 day week and 5 months off I stopped listening. The show was getting stale and he completely jumped the shark. |

Imo - The people that think he jumped, the shark are usually Trump supporters. Ironically “jumped the shark” is a term from his show |

I've never actually seen any data to support his claims of that many listeners. Anyone else is free to enjoy the show, I just think his best days are far, far behind him. All the drama between cast members feels manufactured/scripted at this point and I don't think it was nearly as funny as it used to be. |

Not really. John Hein came up with that term in the 80's and registered jumpedtheshark.com in 1997, long before he joined the Stern show. |
