Why do you obsess over Frost when he has objectively outperformed Farabee in the two full seasons under Torts while playing a more important position and making much less money? It's really weird. - Feanor Because some folks put Frost on such a high pedestal that he simply doesn't belong on. If he has outperformed Farabee why is Frost getting benched while Farabee skates on? I'm sorry, I simply like aggressive hockey players cause hockey is by nature an aggressive sport, and I'd like to see Frost be more aggressive. |

He's just using it as a way to try and get at me. Being completely unaware of how he is making a fool of himself. Same with the Couturier comment. In the past, he has posted that Frost was invisible in a game and I factually proved him to be incorrect. He'll reply that the game is played on the ice being completely ignorant of the fact that the stats data is compiled form play on the ice. Just completely clueless.

It's pretty obvious why Frost is getting benched more. You just refuse to accept it.

We will see how this develops over the next few days, but there is word Philadelphia and goalie Alexei Kolosov are working on a solution to his absence.
Kolosov would come over to play for a bit — exhibition games and some AHL, with agreement on a potential return to KHL if he doesn’t stay with Flyers.
But they definitely want him to give North America a legit shot |

I really don't like Frost's game that much and I haven't hid my feelings on the subject. Too many games where he's just there. Make a difference every shift you are on the ice. I also don't like the fact that he doesn't look to shoot when he is in prime shooting position. It drives me crazy! He doesn't even fake a shot before he makes the inevitable pass. Shoot the puck more!!

I'm not flattering myself. I'm discrediting you. There are relatively very few players in the league that make a difference every shift they're on the ice.
Shoot the puck more. Is that all you've got? |

Kid really has limited options….and perhaps one of the better routes to the NHL, right in front of him. I hope the kid changes his mind and reconsiders. |

I was a big fan of frost coming out of JR….I watched a bunch of his D +1 games in the Soo. I saw a player that had a legit chance to become a point producing C. Be it injuries, consistency or what ever, he just hasn’t clicked yet. I do think he improved last year….which is a big deal. He needs to expand on that this year. |

If that is true, then the Flyers are showing that they want to work with the player. They are giving way some when they don't have to. That is a good thing.

290 shots in 152 games is 1.9 shots per game.
Farabee has 327 shots in 164 games, or 1.99 shots per game. And he's a winger.
Again, the fact you obsess over Frost and ignore Farabee is irrational. Btw, Noah Cates averages 1.31 shots per game and makes $2.625m. |

Frost has really shown improvement every year. Imagine what might happen if the Flyers get out of his way. Some fans just don't realize that for a lot of players, it takes time. We're getting to the point where Frost has to take a jump in play if he is going to be anything more than what he is.

What does playing for the Flyers have to do with winning games? They could go 0-82 and still be winners due to the best culture in the league.
The golf course scenes were kind of on point as they will spend a lot of time there. |
