Not hockey related but big new outdoor stadium (music and festival geared) of up to 50,000 people coming to Downsview Park and set to host concerts as early as June 2025.

Rogers seems to be the big player, they say in the press conference they will still do concerts at Rogers Centre so I would think the Scotiabank Arena may see less of the big name artist - or the super star ones anyway.

I like the bottom 6, 3rd line especially.

I like the top 6 this way

Knies, Matthews, Domi
McMann, Nylander, Marner

Interested in seeing Lorentz on the 4th line, Cowan on the 1st and more of Stolarz.

Also really hoping Rielly, Tanev finally click. Hope Berube worked out the two Dmen in the same (frank)ing corner issue that cost them 2 goals the first game.

Someone sent this to me and I laughed pretty hard.

The text on the pic was "A buddy of mine had CHAT CPT create an image for 'The Big Doug" (as a play on words from the announcement and Boston's "Big Dig").

Pretty sure Rielly/Tanev were +3 in the first game.

I like the bottom 6, 3rd line especially.

As for Reaves getting into the lineup again I’m now fully convinced that Berube knows Wedgie hates it and that’s why it gets done lol

Tanev and morgan have played one preseason game together, it will take time.
Worrying about +/- of them or their play right now is foolish imo.

But i do like the bottom 6 (along with your top 6) and hope cowan does well.

I do get a chuckle now when I see Reaves in the line up for the exact reason.

But I am looking forward to what I hope to be a better, stronger, grittier D corp this season.

Suffering thru Marincin, Holl and then the last season of Brodie has taken it's toll.

I think the d corps will be better, if healthy.
My big concern is OEL.
But we'll see.

We still have power. Gusts about 60mph at the house. Moderate rain, but nothing torrential yet. It's more wind than rain right now. A tornado briefly spun up around Sarasota about a half hour ago.

I honestly think that is a strategy they have - if they have their name on everything they will be mentioned every day when sports are broadcast or a concert spoken about. lol
