Interesting.
I've been a Kakko supporter since day 1, but I think at this point, if he's moved I'd rather we replenish our 2nd round picks and hold onto the cap space for re-signings. Let Cullye and Othmann run with the 3rd line spots and see what they might become.

Im not much of a GM, but I kind of like our depth at the wings and on defense. Big if, but if we can stay healthy down the middle, i think we will roll 4 solid lines which can only improve us at 5 x 5 . |

Knicks needed a center to complete their lineup. They just acquired a top-5 center in the NBA in his prime that should fit seamlessly into their locker room. This is a HUGE gain for the Knicks! As a long suffering Knicks fan, I wholeheartedly approve of this trade!
This would be like the Rangers trading for Mikko Rantanen to fill first line RW without giving up the farm! |
