The selke attention is a nice feather in Cates' hat for sure. The debate on Cates being a better center than Frost is clearly closed at this point though. Cates is a 4th line winger and Frost takes a regular shift at 2nd line center. - mickel25

Not really changing topics was part of our conversation, because I said Jett might be better then frost.
And yes lots of top players in the league have turnovers.
But frost is not top in the league, he is not even top 100.
If he gonna make mistakes then he better produce way more then his downfall - SlNlSTER
This is just more of you being unreasonable. Now you have the expectation of Frost having to be mistake free because of the number of points he puts up. Just simply not a realistic expectation

fact is frost should never ever be mentioned with those players in any way.

The Philadelphia Flyers announced today they signed defenseman Spencer Gill to a three-year entry-level contract, according to General Manager Daniel Brière.
Wow, that was quick. They must have really seen something they like in this kid. I thought he looked good in the rookie game. |

Why is it always on the Flyers? Why is never the players fault? Did you ever think that maybe Attard isn't that good? They have given him plently of chances. He is 26 years old. He is what he is and its not good enough to beat out a veteran in the lineup. |

Do I now need to list pretty good players who's giveaway totals are close to their point totals? - MJL
In Boston, they used to call Hall of famer Ray Bourque "give away Ray" because of his turnovers. But when players play a lot of minutes and have the puck a lot, they are going to give up the puck their fair share also. |

Attard could have been one of the best defensemen in camp and he wasn’t getting a roster spot. Same with any other defenseman as the roster is set on defense.
Part of it can absolutely be he isn’t good enough. Flyers are just not up to snuff when it comes to drafting and development of defenseman. |

Yes and no, if you are not putting points up, then you better be useful elsewhere, 41 points and 29 turnovers is not great.
I understand what you are saying but it's that time for frost to 💩 or get off the pot

Again, you're showing that you're uninformed. His turnover rate is good. Whether you want to believe the facts or not. So since you said a player better be useful elsewhere. Let's look at some other data. Last season among all Flyers forwards, filtered for 200 to take small sample players out of the picture. Frost was first on the team in assists/60 with 1.5. First in first assists per 60 with 1.12. 4th in total points per 60 with 2.19.
On the PP, among all Flyers forwards, filtered for 40 minutes, Frost was first on the team in assists per 60 at 2.57 (Next closest was Laughton at 2.17) In first assists, Frost was at 1.61 (Laughton next closest at 1.61) In total points per 60 on the PP, Frost was at 3.54 (Laughton was the next closest at 2.71)
Some other numbers. At 5 on 5. Frost was 6th in CF% at 51.35. At goals for %, Frost was first on the team at 56.25%. Defensively, at goals against per 60, Frost was 2nd on the team at 1.91.
So as you can see. Frost was the best Flyers forward on the PP and one of the best defensive forwards on the team. When he was on the ice, the Flyers scored 56% of the goals at 5 on 5.
If you want to look at a traditional number. Frost was tied for first with Konecny among all Flyers forwards in +/- at a +4.
I keep waiting for you to provide something, anything factual to support your opinion that Frost is dumb as a box of rocks.
You harping on his turnovers, which he does a low rate, is simply not valid. |

That is simply not true. Young players have to make it impossible for them to be sent down, that is the standard. |

That is just what you think the standard is. It's really not. Not for smart teams that know how to rebuild.

Is it true that Michkov used a knee to control puck soccer player style? I read it on phily.com a few mins ago, and came here to see discussion about it but no one seems to have said anything .... |
