I'm no doctor here, but I'd guess there's still too much swelling for an assessment, so no, imhob..

I suspect they have not decided on what they will do with his injury - rehab / surgery / etc.. Perhaps trying to see if there is a path to get him back this season.

But the longer we wait to hear, the worse I think the news will be.

Never cared for the Reinbacher pick personally since I don’t think he’s gonna be anything more than a 4th dman, but this sucks for him and the Habs as a whole. Now delayed in assessing what he can really be.

Edit: the delay on Laine is likely going to be a worse outcome IMO. Probably to much swelling/damage to properly diagnose at the moment.
