Who else is blaming Anaheim for rushing Drysdale? Drysdale was not playing top pairing minutes for Anaheim for his first two seasons. 19+ minutes is not top pairing ice time.

Not sure who else is saying this but, IMO, Torts is just covering his ass for his poor evaluation skills. There were 100+ games of video and analytics to evaluate before the trade. After the trade Torts was talking him up as the greatest thing since sliced bread talking about how great Drysdale was. A month later after watching him play, he was "Oh fck".

That's got nothing to do with ANH and everything to do with the Flyers.

Same thing when they traded for TDA. Video and analytics were plentiful and yet the Flyers were the only ones surprised at TDAs shortcomings and what needed to be done to maximize his strengths.
