very different player though, RHP usually gets noticed because he always puts in the effort, it's his skill level that probably isn't on par to be a top 6 player in the NHL.

Yeah, just disappointed in Roy.

Or if I flip the narrative, excited by what Kapanen, Heineman and Hutson can bring.

It's always good when they keep the most deserving instead of the ones that were supposed to make the team.

for sure, judging players by merit makes them want to push harder, so in the end it helps with their development in general.

We're 40 minutes into Canadiens practice and still don't have set lines/pairings outside of Caufield-Suzuki-Slafkovsky.

This will be interesting.

I have no particular expectations but Barré-Boulet could also surprise a few, he might turn out to be a very useful call-up even if he's eventually sent back down to Laval.

Gonna be honest, surprised he is still here.

I thought it was gonna be him or Pezz, not both.

yeah, not gonna go see that for sure, apparently it's just a musical that brings barely anything new from the 1st movie.

Guy was dominant in juniors and he's a hard worker. He can still turn into a good bottom 6 NHLer IMO.

he's 27 though, so you gotta wonder why he hasn't been able to establish himself as an NHL regular yet... late bloomers are a thing but that's pretty late lol.

I have CineClub, so I've been sitting on three free tickets for months now Nothing good has come out since Deadpool that I wanted to see in theater.

Good point. Thought he was a little younger. Pretty much his last chance then.

My wife won't watch The Substance. Nothing else interesting until Oscar season. Can't wait for Nosferatu though

for now I see him as really good AHL call-up, but hey, if he does play well enough to earn a spot with the habs then it'll be quite a pleasant surprise.

Damn…..Roy sent down, which I expected with his less than impressive preseason. But does that mean I gotta watch Josh Anderson or Armia on the second line. Makes me want to vomit.

I’d rather just give Kap a shot honestly. Laine injury really sucks right now lol.

I think people had him in the top 9, but if we're being honest he simply wasn't the most deserving coming out of that training camp.
- Pat1993

yep, probably thought the spot was his. others worked harder and had better camp.
