it's pretty obvious there will be "auditions" for the 2nd line, if it doesn't work with Armia I really doubt he'll stay there for too long. even Newhook isn't assured either, if someone plays better than him he could be relegated to the third-line as well.

yeah clearly we don't see Armia the same way, he's overpaid in terms of his offensive production but there are other aspects to his game (good on the PK, protects the puck well, reliable and doesn't make bonehead decisions too often, good work ethic...). bygones I guess.
