They will improve during the year but I predict a rough start and the schedule is pretty tough to start. Habs were a bottom feeder last year, not much has changed this year, Laine is injured, Dach is still trying to get his game back, D group is super young, not many forwards who are responsible defensively, they can't produce on the PP or PK. I think it will take them a good 10 games to get some of those things improved. All part of the process who you rebuilt, takes time for the young guys to build their game. They are going in the right direction but I don't think they are there yet.

fanbase has a large group of fefans....who believe this is the year they will squeak in and not look back. Media will help push this scenario because controversy sells. This is just the beginning of the pressure that will continue to mount on the Habs.

The last 2years of draft...none of the players are ready to make the jump. Reinbacher, Demidov, Hage.....all will need time. They are just starting to see the 2022 drafted players come in with Hutson. Slaf was a first overall so a little different

Until Price, Anderson, Gally and a few others are replaced with players that can produce and the young players take a big step forward, it will be a slow process.

They are on the right path, patience is never easy in sports, people want to be entertain NOW, not in 3yrs
