This Boston and Swayman thing is crazy. Boston trades ullmark away with having seaman signed.
Just stupid |

They had to trade one of them. It was either Ullmark or Swayman. Which one would you have traded?

Yes I agree, but did they need to trade ulmark so early, could they have waited until they had contract ready to go for swayman?

Most teams pretty much have their team set in the Summer. If they waited, they may not have been able to find a deal. The Swayman contract will get done at some point.

The longer it takes the more it will cost. Especially if rangers sign terk first. Terk wants to reset the goalie market. Swayman does as well.
Carey price is getting 10.5. That is the market

Looks like Jett made the roster for the big club. I hope he’s ready. But he’s probably not. This organization has zero clue about player development |

Can’t wait to see his confidence level when he goes pointless in 9 straight |

Yes. His confidence will be so shot, he’ll give up hockey by age 23.
I’m not in favor of Jett making the team after a very underwhelming camp and I agree he’ll probably have two points max after 9 games but if his confidence is easily shot for the reasons you just gave, trade him now. |

But his legs won’t hurt and he won’t be winded so Tortorella will maintain his erection. |

I’m not gonna go as far as saying the line up looks better with Jett Luchanko but somehow it does look more balanced. I don’t think he’ll be Coots but I’m not gonna lie, this reminds me of Coots’ first camp. Another desperate need for centers. |

There is zero reason to keep Luchanko on the team. He just turned 18. No reason whatsoever

They think he’s their second best option at center? |

Maybe but that's not realistic.

Probably not.
Maybe they’ll just give him a few games and send him back down?
Maybe he’ll be great and he’ll stick?
They’ve got me interested in seeing what happens. |

Too many people around here want to be right. We all know the right decision would have been to send Jett down but this isn’t the end of the world either |

So if Jett is up for the season does that mean Frost is getting moved? What’s Frost and Colorado or Edmonton’s first get you? - Dkos
Not at all. Frost in the 2C on this team. If Jett sticks it will be at 3C which I think is a good spot for him. |

At best Jett replaces whoever was centering the 3rd.
Now it’s going to be a cluster(frank) for the 4th line, which is a good position to be in, which I’m sure many “debates” will happen because of it.
It will be different story when injuries start to hit. - Glak18
Having Jett at 3C really solidifies the bottom 6 and slots everyone in the right place, i.e. Poehling at 4C, Laughton at wing, and Nick D in the press box. Why the Flyers didn't waive ND and keep Lycksell is what makes no sense to me. I hope Lycksell sticks with the Flyers but I fear he is going to get claimed. |

If Jett and Michkov are not out there to start every 3-3 OT, I will literally show up and crash the bench. |
