Putting blinders on and refusing to recognize the blatantly obvious isn't going to make it untrue. - MJL

That's all you're capable of. Disagreeing without offering anything to support it while ignoring the overwhelming evidence that is the case. You have blinders on.

Is this representative of you counter balancing my crap. Like I've said previously. You make a fool of yourself every single day. I never stated whether they would or wouldn't keep Luchanko. Only offered my opinion on why they shouldn't. You are completely clueless. - MJL Liar...liar...liar...liar!!

It’s Guelph….I’ve tolerated your spelling of it far too long. The insiders on Flyers are saying the general plan is to get him in for enough games with out burning the 1rst year of his ELC…they feel he’s EARNED it….imagine a guy earning something? Crazy…..but you know what Mike Tyson used to say about “everyone’s plan”. - landros 2
Thanks for the spelling It makes total sense to me, give the kid up to 9 games and see where he's at, then send him back to Geulph, I mean Guelph |

Because they have been screwing up for the better part of a decade. - MJL
When you say "they", whoa re you referring to? Briere and Jones have only been on the job for over 1 year, and Torts is coming into his 3rd season. I understand the past but lets give this new group a chance. |

Not to put to fine a point on it but the obvious move would be to use the largest analytics dept in the league to give the team some pointers. You know, things like what's working best for other teams, what's the tendencies/weaknesses of goaltender for the next game, what do the Flyers players do well/bad individually, etc.
There is ZERO sign that they are using the most common and easily accessed resources at their disposal that everyone else uses. Is the PP really that much a mystery that the Flyers need a few more guys to see if the Flyers PP passes the "eye test"?
Also, any other team would've fired coaches by now but not the Flyers. - Flyers_01
The PP is not that much of a mystery. I have posted time and time again that its the creativity and chemistry amongst the players that matters much more than the coaching. There are really 3 main ways to score on the PP, create a quick shot from down low or from the half wall via a bumper, walk the blue and find a shooting lane with traffic and look for a tip or a rebound, or set up a 1 timer from either circle. The key for teams on the PP is puck possession, and the two main factors to puck possession are winning faceoffs and having good entry zone entries. The Flyers have improved on their zone entries, but they must improve their PP faceoffs. Seriously, I'm fine with getting advice from Leclair, Sharp and even Briere, but in the end if you have to do that, how much confidence can you have in your coaching staff?? |

You can change the people but if you don't change the thinking and the philosophy, nothing really changes. There is no indication that they are any different and at this point in time, no reason to give them any benefit of the doubt. Tortorella has been a disaster for this franchise and he is running the show.

You state that creativity and chemistry from the players matter more than coaching and then at the end, question the coaching. It's both. A lack of talent and poor coaching.
