-Hurricane 10 days ago causes massive destruction in Sarasota and Bradenton coastal areas (even worse in N. Carolina)
- Sabres lose two games in which they looked major league lost at times.. lots of running around, not much discipline.
-Bills look like poop for a good portion of the game, but lose a heartbreaker... Even with suspended players, several starters out from injury.
- new Hurricane Milton rapidly builds, headed directly for us with Cat 5 winds, expecting high storm surges to flood far beyond what we experienced with Helene.

I need a bit of sanity...

I'm not sure this is still a factor, but they said earlier that the wind shear from the cold front was expected to slow it's roll as it approaches land .. but poop, by how much.

The only semi-good news is usually when they are this wound up, they aren’t huge wind fields. Idk how much it has changed since 5AM, most reports don’t include it, but at 5AM hurricane force winds only extended 25 miles from the center. It’s expected to weaken some as it nears FL, but it’s still gonna be a monster. The storm surge is going to be huge south of the eye with the angle of approach

Idk how close you are to the coast, but this thing is gonna put half of the Gulf onshore. And it’s coming straight across the Gulf as cat 5. The swell headed to SW FL ahead of the storm will be huge, and then the surge comes with that huge swell breaking on top of it.
