Give Novikov a shot! What do you have to lose.

in the NHL???

If he was anywhere close, isn't that what the preseason is for?

OK, never mind! Why see if any of our prospects can help.

I know you really want him to be ready, but there's just no sign that they think that.

Samuelsson really sucks , he’s always had that injury excuse.

Probably the worst contract on the team

It has nothing to do with me wanting him ready, maybe he's not. But we will never know that until he plays for the Sabres. We are going on 2-3-4 years with these prospects and only know of a few that might help. We have basically nothing from 5 years of drafting at this point.

If there’s been one constant… it’s the players not executing (at best) and coming out looking like they don’t even want to play.

I have no idea how you can fix that other than just blowing up the core and making multiple blockbusters

How do you get rid of tage at 7 mill. Cozens at 7 mill?

Tuch I can easily see

It would be a shame to trade tuch away.

One of the Few guys, that’s not the problem .

He has good value though for sure

I don't understand why you think they have to see guys in the NHL to know where they are at. Preseason gave them the chance to see him against some better competition. I think you're over-anxious on him.

Because I believe the NHL is a different style play than the AHL, believe it gives you more of a feeling on players.
And don't think this preseason helped that much

Why is it a big deal I would rather see Novikov over a Bryson or Gilbert for a few games if Power is out. Good experience for the kid and who knows maybe he gets it.

Last year. Rightfully so, the panthers were 2 steps ahead of us speed wise last year.

I’m guessing that holds true again this year. Except for the 4th line

Tuch is 10000% one of the players that is the problem. What games have you been watching the last 2 years?

Tuch has been one of the losers on this roster. He has played poorly for 2 seasons in a row. His drop off in production is insane

He went from 79 to 59 points. That’s a big drop off for a PP and top line player.

On a regular basis he just throws the puck around blindly in the offensive zone

He cried about the fans on a podcast and then boycotted saluting the fans after wins

His fight vs the devils to stick up for JJ was an absolute joke. (Look at Krebs fight vs tuchs)

The dude is a loser and not anything I would want on my team

He’s getting worse and worse each year
