Rewatched both games and gotta say, it's really troubling. My boy Quinn hasn't looked good, lots of giveaways and perimeter shots that are missing the net. McLeod is invisible. The 4th line stopped hitting. NAK, Benson and Peterka injuries just made the start of the year a lot harder. Power and Dahlin going through the motions. Tage looking like the slumping Tage. Sammy and Joker are playing AHL caliber hockey.

Only bright spots I saw were Cozens, Zucker and goaltending (both goalies having acceptable starts, nothing crazy).

It's way to early to call it, but this may be another long year. If so, let us pray it is Adams' last. If he's given more time, given the amount of damage he's done, we may be talking about another rebuild again...

Jersey is a good team and, I think, will make some noise in the playoffs with that roster. I'm hoping that we snap out of it and just had some unpleasant scheduling to start the year. That being said, if Peterka, Benny and NAK are all going to miss time, which sounds probable, we may be in a big hole before we ever get our roster back together.

That's certainly the remaining hope. We need help. I'm pretty worried that a lot project to be middle 6ers, when we need high end, impact players, but don't know until they get their chance. Kulich had a few nice plays that didn't materialize into anything. But we really need guys like him, Wahlberg, Ostlund, Rosen, Helenius and RyJo to reach their potential. Some will bust, some won't, but kind of need one or two to overachieve.
