I would imagine the plan Dubas has given to guys like Sid are that the team is going to go after the playoffs, but wont spend young assets/picks chasing it. So we will keep our team intact as long as possible, but if we fall out of it, guys like Pettersson are going to be the first to go.

We should clearly get some good value for him. Good contract, we can retain 1/2, and he can eat up big minutes.
