So Seeler still has numbness in his foot., Nothing like starting the season off on the right foot!

Wonder what the goalie situation will be for the first four games. Ersson-Fedotov-Ersson-? You have to think if Fedotov struggles against Calgary Ersson plays 3 of 4. Then a quick turnaround for the home opener. Ersson needs proper rest this season. If they do not trust Fedotov early they need to bring one of the AHL fellas.

The Flyers did well to get thru camp with just an injury to Seeler compared to the carnage on some other teams. Hopefully they won't be dumb and make him play before it's healed. That's why they signed Johnson.

Agreed. Can't go Risto-Johnson for obvious reasons so that would make the most sense. And if Seeler is still feeling numbness in his leg a week after the game where he got banged up, it shouldn't be forced. It's game one.

With Seeler gimpy, it probably would have made more sense to carry 8D on this trip and leave the 14th forward in the AHL...

I think it will go this way:

@ VAN Ersson
@ CGY Fedotov
@ EDM Ersson
@ SEA Fedotov
vs VAN Ersson
vs WSH Ersson
@ WSH Fedotov
vs MIN Ersson
vs. MTL Fedtotov
@ BOS Ersson
vs STL Ersson

This is due to b2bs, a 3-in-4 and travel in October.

madness for sure but it is also could be a win/win, they play well, that will start the season off on a good foot and bond the group. They flop and we have our race for a top 5 pick in full view.

Really hoping that Feds gets his game together as he'll be needed as you mention. If he falters a lot and Kolosov does well in the A, I can surely see him getting a chance sooner rather than later. At least Ers has looked solid so far. I can see us over using him and him being exhausted in Jan like last year..

loved how he spent and made trades for Vets who were past the prime. Thank him so much for signing Bryz.

Snider or Comcast, both owner types have their pros and cons.

But what they've both have in common is that they hire front office folks who lack any kind of forethought, competence and patience. The last time the Flyers were ahead of the curve was in the 70's.

Gary Buttman sticking it to the Flyguys already. What a ridiculous schedule to start off the season. I'm sure the Penwhines have a nice easy cushy schedule to start the year as always. Does Cindy still live in Buttman's basement? Just asking for a friend.

Love how we complete our season series against VAN in the first 5 games.

Lots of teams in East have made improvements on paper. It will be a grind.

Really? So I guess I was imagining things when we had season tickets from 1985-2005. Yeah, they really sucked in that 20 year period! Eh what???

So who in here is for team tank?

I was last year and it didn't end well.
With that said, knowing my luck, I'm assuming if I want us to be a playoff team this season we are destined for a top 8 pick

Ya, that schedule does suck, usually that is the type of scheduling reserved for the Canucks.
