It is but some ppl think they need to bottom out for 7 years to be considered rebuilding, the truth is there is more ways then 1 to rebuild - SlNlSTER

this is a very good point they traded 2 assets (Walker and cap space) and only received one asset in return. To me it was not a good trade. Now the 3 stooges will say that someone had to go the other way - fine, then get an additional asset for it - mr4tno
I believe the Flyers also added a 5th or 6th round pick. |

I wished the flyers brass took a deep look on Panthers dealing & wheelings. And overall philosophy to get to this point. |

This has nothing to do with the fact that they should have received addition assets. I can just hear Briere..."Oh don't worry Avs you can keep the other 1st (or 2nd or etc), we already have enough pick in the top 50. Actually, when I read this out loud I CAN hear him saying that! |

I don’t. Sure the Panthers look great now but they were bottom dwellers since birth until recently. A lot of what they have now is through trade, signing or just being so bad for so long they finally tripped and fell upon can't miss picks. Of course I want the Flyers to be the panthers right now but when looking at their players, none of these guys were “secret weapons”. Matthew Tkachuk. Sam Reinhart. Sergei Bobrovsky. These are can’t miss players. I think I’m a little more impressed by Tampa Bay, Dallas and New Jersey’s way of developing teams. |

You made the statement that Couturier often played with Rinaldo when you were asked. Does this imply that you don't really know?

Couturier also played together quite a bit with Mike Knuble (23.8 percent) and/or Zac Rinaldo (17.1 percent) as his linemates. Couturier's forward lines were also frequently paired with Braydon Coburn's defensive units along with Nicklas Grossmann (23.9 percent) or Bruno Gervais (22.2 percent). Late in the season with the blueline riddled with injuries, Erik Gustafsson (19.9 percent) was often out on the ice when Couturier was.

Not surprised that he played with Rinaldo some. I wouldn't consider that often.
