Can you just, like, STFU?

12.5 mil zero points McDavid
14 mil zero points Drai (counting it like every nerd in here did for Petey last year)
87.7 mil zero points for the entire Edmonton lineup

So Rooney is on the ice not moving and the fans chant TJ Miller? What was that about? Classy!

Watched in a bar in Calgary. There was one very confident guy wearing a kesler jersey. Don't see a lot of those out here.

It's been said but ya pretty big implosion. Only game 1 but like to start out better than that. First period was fun but just seemed like we got some bounces ... then they turned drastically. Felt like they got a little full of themselves and were going to rely on talent for the last 40 and just didn't come close to matching flames effort. Hate to hang too much on Silovs, but the long shots do seem to be a bit of a thing. Slighter guy feels like he moves a little too much toward the puck and can't compensate for bounces, deflections, etc. At least we didn't lose 1-0 ... or 6-0. That Montembeault looked great for the habs.

Silovs is terrible. The hype over this kid is outrageous. The other kid in Abby is a far better prospect. Silovs may be listed at 6’2 but he takes up less of the net than Quick

It’s funny how fans overreact on game 1 lol
- Bettmanhatesus

Not as many that overreact to the final game, June 15th 2011: Boston Bruins 4, Vancouver Canucks 0.

I stopped following Baseball because I was an Expos fan growing up and was pissed off they moved. I always liked the NL more than the AL. I decided to go to a Dodgers game when visiting LA which got me back into Baseball after a decade or so off. I had no team at the time so I decided to cheer for the one that got me following the sport again. They actually lost the game I went to and were middle of the pack at the time.

I have a friend that cheers for the Leafs, Cowboys, and Dodgers. The worst combination of favorites I've ever witnessed.

Thinking about it now, I should sever ties immediately.

I'm certainly more nervous about Demko's injury than I was yesterday.

I'm not, it's Game 1, as long as they don't go on a huge losing streak, they'll be fine.

Fair enough. Sort of funny as the Dodgers are the furthest thing from the Expos in the sport. Miss the expos as well

Silovs has never been a good goalie outside of a short international tourney. Lankinen is fine until Demko returns though. I don’t want to get attacked again but this team is in trouble because of Pouty. Not the backup goalies or the 3rd pair defenders. Pouty. 33 games without an even strength goal now. If he can’t show effort the team is done
