Sully won't do it, but I'd keep playing Blom. Kid won this game for them.

Pleasantly surprised with Beau. His speed on Sids line is noticeable.

McGroarty is an NHL player now. He might get screwed with his waiver status, but he belongs with the big club. Was billed as a net front scorer (from what I read), but he can really pass the puck too.

In a perfect world, you play Jarry and later this season can trade him to a team desperate for a goalie or one with an injury or something and then you run with Ned and Blom the rest of the year.

I can't argue with that, but I'd keep giving Blom chances while Ned is down. Let's see what he's got. He deserves the next start. I don't even blame Jarry for that sh!t show last night. I just want to reward a young player for playing well.

Yup. Let Blom try to build on this. He had to have nerves going in after last night. Let’s see what he’s got

Jarry backing up... looks like we have quite a few posters that think just like the head coach! HaHaHa HaHa

Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Playing the other goalie when the first goalie let in six, some very bad, the night before is just a braindead easy choice.

Nice job by Blomqvist to hold them in when they got out played early.....again. Earned the win. Might have earned another shot too. Be interesting because if Jarry is their guy, they should go back to him especially this early in the year.

Nice response today by both Beau and DOC. They know they are battling to stay in the top six once Rust comes back. Not to mention McGroarty lurking

Beau's speed and two goals speaks for itself. DOC I though had one of his better games on his off wing (I usually dislike him at RW). Got one and could have easily gotten one or two more. Nice to see a little healthy competition for spots.

Pens fans should just keep their fingers crossed that Jarry stays healthy, has a few quality games approaching the trade deadline and some other team is desperate for a meh goalie down the stretch.

Last season in the early going was the time for that trade. I think our best case is going to bad a bad contract for bad contract trade. I think they will alternate starts waiting for Ned to get healthy.

I don't wish for anyone to get injured but an ideal scenario would be a Skinner injury in Edmonton and a Jarry for Kane trade. He is fine as a goaltender but there is a very clear personality issue with him and his teammates.

I would go with him again. Pens don't win that game without him last night. After he made some massive saves you could see them settle and get a bit of swagger in their game. Sh!tty goaltending can really mess up a teams confidence and execution.

Jarry looked super happy for him getting rewarded the player of the game helmet in the locker room post game. These guys are pros. Go with the hot hand....which could totally go freezing cold tomorrow night...or stay hot. I'd like to see how he looks vs the current best goal scorer in the game.

No sign of Boyd since before that storm hit.....or maybe, hopefully, I missed a comment by him....

No word from him, but looks like nobody near him has power back yet.

Doesn’t look like it was as bad as some were predicting. Still a poop ton of damage. That has to vibe exhausting for people year after year

I wonder if the Shesterkin contract will either handcuff the Rangers (since he wants more than 11million per year), or if he will be traded and leave a bit of void for the Rangers at goalie.

Can they afford not to sign him?
