Thanks Yorky!

No time to panic but yes concern blowing 3rd period leads. Especially to teams Canucks are favored over.

Anyway, lots of areas to improve. If they don’t bring their A game on the road they will get burned more.

I watched the first period last night, Canucks had a good first period imo. The PP looked good, other than finishing, they had good puck movement and were getting good chances. Ersson played really well.

Much better structure to their game against a very young Flyers team, who actually played well. Canucks have five new forwards on the team, it's going to take some time to ingrain what the coaches are looking for back in their game. Not as much pond hockey last night though, which is a positive sign.

No demmer for now and who knows how long makes us a slightly below average team at best. With a high end goalie we are top 8ish

PP has looked good in both games so far. At least we kept it to two goals and still had a chance to win that's what goalies need to do not the 'Silovs 6' lol

How did your 11.6 mil boy look?

Any points?

Lankinen is clearly better than Silovs right now. Small sample yes but Lankinen should be starting and Silovs backing until Demko returns or is traded lol

I didn't waste my time even watching a period, after seeing your sweetheart play in the1st game, I have decided I have much better things to do in life.

But it's only 2 games? Maybe the knee thingy is still lingering?

Clearly there's a bit of an adjustment period needed, team defense especially in the 3rd period is lacking, the fact that they lost games they should have been able to win is very concerning. You hope that DeBrusk, Heinan and the rest of the top 6 actually wake up and play properly.

Anytime you bring in new forwards and D there will be an adjustment period to be sure. But yes it is concerning the lack of close-out especially in the Calgary game blowing a 4-1 lead.

They had a lot of new players last season when they came firing out of the gates.

They had two wins against a crap Oilers team and then two losses, for four points after four games to start the season last year. If they win one of the next two games they have the same number of points as last year after four games. You guys are bunch of drama queens in here!!

Only caught the 3rd, but that Myers injury is worrisome. The right side D isn't an organizational strength to begin with. Plus those are tough minutes to fill.

How 'bout them Dodgers?

Yeah all well and good. However when the Canucks took the 2-1 lead they didn’t have more sustained pressure and allowed the Flyers to tie it. Granted missed assignments.

Flyers could have won it in regulation if they connected on some tap ins. Lakinen came up big on other saves

Though if they had control of the game it wouldn’t be the Flyers with all the missed chances.

All in all not a good look against a young inexperienced Flyers team.
