Maybe. Petey has a history of putting up points and dominating with the puck while playing with questionable players. Now he can't keep it together with any kind of player. It's on him, plain and simple.

Now, that huge contract... that's a different story. If they waited until summer like Petey wanted... I doubt very much he would have a leg to stand on for double digit millions. Instead the 11.6 or trade ultimatum made a mess out of it.

The irony is that Miller who was a late developer, has had all kinds of negative surrounding his personality and play dating from the same stage of his career EP is at, and it doesn't remind him that you should be cautious about young players having bumps along the way.

In the pregame show they were talking about EP being in the top 25 forwards for ppg by the age of 25 all time. The worse player on that list was Pierre Turgeon with his 1300 career points. Caution.

I hope you are right but I think his problems are mental not physical which is pretty hard to fix. Maybe a team will bet on a change scenary. He certainly has the talent.
