Finally! That original pass to Laughton looked like a bad idea at first

Wow. Tk another shortie. I am
Shocked they scored. Tk should have shot that. I was sure we overpassed that.

Yes. It worked out by omfg tk has to shoot that. He was almost in the blue paint straight on. Fack

What other coaches have the final say on how the roster is constructed?
- furio16

I would think that the opinion of a head coach with over 20 years head coaching experience and over 700 NHL wins would be weighed heavily by Briere

Wouldn’t this be a collaborative discussion with torts having an important opinion on the matter, but gm with the final call? It’s a roster decision and not a lineup decision.

I agree but regardless it’s the gm with the final stamp of approval on a roster decision

You didn’t answer the question. I do not think there is any other coach who has as much influence on a team than this coach.

You think otherwise. That’s ok.

No I think Torts has a lot of say for sure. After all, there would be no change in leadership and front office if it wasn’t for Torts coming in here and showing everyone that this franchise was broke from the top down and needed an overhaul.

They problem with numbers and they can tell you whatever you want them to. Watching the game has to come first, then look into the numbers to validate if what you think you see is reality. Lots of shots but Wolf did not have to make hard saves.
- jd250

Try telling that to mjl

That’s complete bull poop! That is an example of a ref not understanding the game. Give Forster 5 plus 2, no reason for the misconduct. He’s sticking up for his teammate who hit cheap shotted for Pete’s sake!

My god. Kadri is a jerk. Barely tapped his stick. He slams in on the ice to break it and then he’s waving his hands shining bright away.

F you Kadri. You’re a punk.

Changing the names and not the philosophy is not real change.

Promoting the assistant GM who worked under the prior GM isnt change. Hiring a TV announcer as your President is not a positive change. Firing Scott for another fan boy with zero hockey experience is also not the change they needed.

Maybe the coach will be the GM one day in the future.

That’s the way it works.l for the penalty. I think the hit was a little late and he took advantage of a player in a vulnerable position.

Actually it’s the exact time to call it. No need to stick up for anything. It was a clean hit.

Another goal against high on Fedotov, you would think a goalie that is 6’7” would be able to stop those.

They have absolutely changed their direction since Torts came in. You have to have your eyes closed and ears plugged to not notice it

He’s huge so I get why he plays back in the crease but it almost seems like he’s playing too far back really.

On that goal he was not square to Kadri and thus not using his size effectively.

Risto on for the PP goal! Merry Christmas MJL!! This will give you plenty of fodder for tomorrow. Third pair mediocre at best!
