I was able to catch 15:00 of the 2nd of the Hog's game. #1 takeaway the club played with speed throughout the period. Kinda ran Grand Rapids out of the arena.

Saw KK go coast to coast but he was much much more involved with the puck on his stick. Played on the 1st PP and 1st PK. He's gettin his touches and the squad plays fast.

Thought for sure Bertuzzi was a shoe in for his linemate but like what they've done with the top two lines so far. Just like seeing them able to spend time in the other team's end for more than a rush or two.

We are lucky Edmonton can't hit the net very often. Mrazek was pretty solid tonight, much better than vs Utah. Jones really playing well, honestly you'd really have to nit pick to complain about him in this early season.

The point of the exercise was criticism. They lack professionalism. Rocky turned things around and now management is back in the toilet. If they don't get a cable deal soon, I think people will just start forgetting about this team.

Now that’s watchable hockey. I was hoping that they’d sign Teravainen(KD listened), he’s such a pro on both sides of the puck. Foligno with the most TOI out of the forwards, that shouldn’t be his role at this stage of his career, although he had a very good game. Three out of four points from Edmonton and the Peg on the road, not bad.

The Oilers Batman and Robin duo aren’t revved up yet but they will gradually get their engine running full speed later this season. Bowman will manage the cap and they will manage without E Kane, Broberg and Holloway

Until around trade deadline Biwman adds a piece or two and Oilers will try to win lots down the stretch

I’m the one that brought up Toews, let me clarify without sticking my foot in my mouth. Bedard is more talented than Toews, he’s phenomenal, however I was speaking defensively. I’m sure he will improve that part of his game as well, just don’t think he’ll get to that level on the defensive side, and that’s okay, because he’ll be putting up 100 points on a consistent basis.
