Cover song of the week. Original version was a hit for Bo Diddley in 1955.

That song goes waaaay back before Bo Diddley. I think Blind Blake or some other bluesman recorded it in the 20's and who knows where it came from before that! My favorite version is by Leon Redbone.

Blind Blake recorded a song titled Diddy Wah Diddy in 1929, however it bears little resemblance to the 1955 version by Ellas McDaniel (aka Bo Diddley) and Willie Dixon. So the title may be the same, but different songs. What is safe to say is the title was a common phrase in blues circles, as was rock and roll.

My brother likes thrift shops and if he finds a Leafs jersey he gives it to me, because he himself is a a dirty Habs banana eater.
He scored me a mint 2018 Stadium Series Marner jersey. It's pretty sweet. Then he hands me a blue Leafs jersey with a C on it that is # 65 and the name on the back is STEVEN lol. That one's going back to the thrift shop.

Day four without power. Internet is slow.
Checked the scoreboard a couple times and glad to see Hildeby get his first win. Leafs and Lightning both looking good.
GLG!

On the plus side, after Milton a lot of climate change denialists seemingly have decided that yes, not only can human activity affect the weather, 'they' can actually control it! Amazing change of mind innit.

It is crazy the logical backflips people will do to avoid admitting to themselves that they were wrong about something. Our genius pudding-fingered governor is in that camp.

what to do with Lijergen, trade with Kraken for Brandon Tanev
or he goes to the Oilers for a draft pick - monkman1967
Not a likely move. Tanev is a $3.5M cap hit. This does not help the Leafs with the cap. Unless a trade makes sense cap-wise, Leafs can wait. An injury could easily change the dynamics. If the Leafs are set on freeing up cap space, moving Reaves, Jarnkrok and even Kampf would make more sense to me. Trading Liljegran might turn out to be a mistake.
