Probably, but as last night was my first chance to watch a complete game, he is one of the few that push the action. He can't finish, but he can't skate through and past people with the puck.

Even though i know they aren't going be good, still pisses me off to stay up til 11:45 to see them lose.

The players, coaches and management have all stated that they want/need to establish clear roles for players and lines this year, hence D!ckinson will not be moving off the 3rd line unless/until injuries dictate it.

I guess 2C is not a clear role.

I was aggravated going to bed last night, i felt like they passed up many opportunities to finish their checks. I guess they get 1 win and they are all that.

Nice embellishment by the goalie last night, must be related to Mike Smith.

And still their passing is terrible.

This team needs a Spellacy type of player, among other things, unfortunately Spellacy will not be ready for a couple of years. Can’t wait to see Nazar, Boisvert, and Spellacy with regular roles. Spellacy brings speed and size, and hopefully hands as well. In the mean time, they don’t have many choices to play with Bedard besides Foligno.

Yeah, late for us on EST. AA has speed to burn, but I can’t count the times he loses the puck at the blue line as he enters the offensive zone, very frustrating. Might as well sit both AA and Smith, that fourth line was brutal.

Then how do you explain so many different lineups in 4 games. Bertuzzi, Hall, Mikheyev, Kurashev, Foligno, have all been moved at least once.

Carrying over from the last thread -
Everyone saying Murphy will most likely get moved next year - I could see them moving him this year if there is a taker, if the Hawks retain 50% of his contract. It wouldn't affect them next year cap wise.

Some mix of prospects+picks getting traded should happen either during this season or next offseason.

Rantanen and Marner still haven't signed extensions,wonder if they'll be too rich for KD and company and their stupid salary cap phobia

Just cause some here have that phobia, (me for one) doesn't mean KD and company do.

And to be clear, I'm not afraid of paying for a star, just not the last two years before they are even close to winning.

I'm OK with it next year, Marner with Bedard would be something, he just scares me come playoff time.
