Nice shift to close out the period. That line should be out after every goal |

Other then that last shift that period was Canes dominance. Lucky it’s 1-1. |

I wish DOC was a more likable hockey player. - Grinder47
All he does is forecheck, back check, and score at an acceptable level. Unsure what there is to dislike besides you deciding to root against one of our young players as usual |

Terrible style, like 4th year pro with no FM, doesn’t hit anyone, stick checker, shoves after the whistle knowing damn well he’s never dropping them. He needs to become a 40 goal guy to get my vote. Nice block on the ok though. |

Canes skating circles around the Pens. Should be 5-1 at least. Blom giving them a chance. |

Also I doubt you’d like him if he scored 40 given how much you hated Guentzel |

Didn't help Jake Guentzel. But Jansen Harkins and his 0 goals ... what a hockey player. |

You’re probably right. Guentzel is a pigeon little female dog though. |

You have to wonder how much the Mr Malkin 500 distraction plays into this game. |

If Guentzel is pigeon then Kunitz is the biggest pigeon to ever live (he’s not). |

9th fight of Konecy’s career. Do the Pens have a rostered player with 9 career fights? Accairi or Petts maybe. |

Still waiting for that first Acciari Pens fight. Typical got paid and stopped dropping the gloves. |

Just a weird thing to do to call a 40 goal scorer who lead the league in even strength goals a pigeon when you regularly advocate for fourth liners to play with Crosby. You literally want an actual pigeon on the top line. |

All Sullivan’s coaching. Come on now, we know this. |

Dude it's been like this for years with sullivan..You drop the gloves you go in the pressbox and for misbehaving you play 3 minutes a game when sullivan allows you to play again...Sullivan is a tyrant...Sully's way or the highway.

It is a little *different* with so many goalies in the league who are struggling. The PENS, so far, need to score 5 to win.
Last night our TOP 3 Stars of the game for giveaways were (our vets) Malkin, Letang and Crosby.
Another note - Graves looks much better than last season… someone should say that - especially if you, last season and the off season, kept repeating it.
Jarry, so far, has obviously laid an egg… and what's worse may be the perception he is oblivious of what's going on. Even, during the playing of the anthem - he gives the impression he's aloof, distracted. It's just not a good look.
This team hasn't changed from last season - they are just being too fancy. To make it clear - opposing players have no caution bringing the puck up the ice - the entire team plays way too soft. We need more Carters than most of you think.
------------
I'm waiting for the next poster to pop up about a player who *deserves* to start because of the time his mommy and daddy spent taking him to practices! I'm still LMAO at that one. |

The Graves-St.I pair has been the least noticeable, which is a good thing. Hopefully that continues.
As expected, there's a big hole in the top 6. I was calling for DOC on Sid's line 3 games ago, and I still think that's their only option.
Not sure how they resolve the Jarry situation, but at least they have a few goalies who can give them a chance to win games.
Overall, 3-3 is right where I expected they be. |
