Fedotov looks terrible. I do not think his issues are correctable in the near future. He has maybe one or two more starts before he is sent to the AHL. He cost the Flyers points in both games he started.
TK's fight with 7 minutes left was selfish and dumb. The Room had a 3 point night. Hopefully he is not done scoring for the rest of the month.
Drysdale scored and Michkov had a point. Hooray! |

When do we see kolosov - WhiskeyMan
I’d be looking at sending feds down if his next start is like these.
For a big tender, he plays small. He seems too static in the crease in that he doesn’t telescope out a bit when it’s clear a shot is coming. There are technique issues that need to be fixed but it also looks like his confidence is low. Send him down to the a for a good while. It’s probably where he should have begun when he came over tbh
Let’s see what kolosov has.
I’ll add that if Sam goes down with an extended injury this team will def be a top 5 pick. |

i watched the recap on the NHL site this morning and thought wow the first three goals by Seattle were weak goals to give up.
I have zero confidence in Fedotov at this point. If Kolosov is watching he may have gotten his wish of being on the NHL club soo er than later. |

I agree. That’s why it was so stupid of him to not come over for training camp. He’s got a very good shot at an nhl job here. |

Drysdale minus 3?
Hard to be optimistic if this is what he is healthy. |

He is on pace for 20 goals and your nitpicking his defensive acumen? Some are never happy

It should always be the kids playing. Bring up Ollie and put in andrae Let them play the whole year. I’d be sending Jett back as well. I wonder if seeler would help jd or if this is just what he is. Tbh. The goaltending was so bad if a player is a minus it’s not all on him last night. Apparently torts spoke to jd about the terrible pinch in the third that led to the 6th goal. |

At this point we will be in a position to pick top 5 if they keep playing Fedotov - woof.
I still can’t believe we are paying him $3.25 per year. |

Yes. I always thought that was wild but there was probably more to it like he wouldn’t come over for less. The team was put in a horrible spot with the hart situation but they should have just said forget it. Roll with Petersen as the backup as it didn’t matter. Better hope that kolosov is the real deal. |

I still feel the " plus-minus" stat is the most skewered. Players receive a minus when another player / goalie makes a mistake. Does not make sense IMO

Great game by The Room last night. He would be exactly what a team like Buffalo needs. Is the co-GM allowed to pick up the phone and kick tires? Or does he need permission? |

When do we see kolosov - WhiskeyMan
Probably not in the near future. IMO, they are going to give Feds some time. If Feds fails, then the contract which looked bad when they gave it to him becomes glaring. The one thing this FO refuses to do it is be seen in a bad light. At best we are talking the Flyers carrying 3 goalies while Feds nurses an "injury".
Feds essentially blackmailed the Flyers last season because they were desperate to make the playoffs. He wouldn't get on a plane until there was a handshake agreement on his contract.
Let's keep in mind that the KHL mostly (all?) play on NHL sized rinks so the whole rink size excuse is bull so let's stop bringing it up every time he has a bad game.
It's looking increasingly like his freakish size is his best attribute. His positioning looks like it did when he came over last year. I've never seen him play in the KHL but this seems like something the Flyers should've known.
That being said, the Flyers defense is hot crap. Kraken doubled up the Flyers in high danger scoring chances, a recurring theme to start the season. Feds did suck but, as is traditional with the Flyers, the defense get's a pass and all the blame falls on the goaltender.
There is no way that there wasn't room for Andrae on that horrible blueline. If you are going to be bad at least let a youngster who can learn from his mistakes be the one making them. If you are going to suck, embrace the suck and make it a learning experience. |

Guys with the intangibles that The Room has are irreplaceable in an organization. Without him who would set the tone, who would choose the after game music, and most importantly, who would hand out the replica 74/75 Stanley Cups to the most deserving player of the game each night? |

I agree with +/- being too arbitrary for a game to game summation.
However, when arrayed against the stats of teammates, and others in the same roles, a comparison can be made more reliably over time.
Being a plus on a bad team is an indicator of worth.

Also keep in mind Kolosov has only played one game so far for LHV. How long will Torts continue to use him as they need more and right now just do not see what the ivan brings to the table. He looks just flat out not good.
EJ with a game changing 12:36 in playing time last night.

Drysdale was fine last night - ClaudeFather
I'm going to disagree and it may not all be his fault but the other team has no trouble trying to score when he is on the ice.
On the season, when he is on the ice, other teams have out scoring chanced the Flyers 36-16 and out high danger chanced the Flyers 17-7 despite him getting the large majority of his starts in the offensive or neutral zones. |
