Gotta love how the NHL has different rules for different teams

You can say that again. I like Goalies that can play the puck and stop it as well. It's a good combo.

Thanks Yorkski. You're awesome.

Put him on Petey’s wing & drive play.

From Sportsnet...

#Canucks    Elias Pettersson has not scored an even-strength goal in 30 consecutive games, including playoffs.

He has played 450:29 even-strength time on ice in that time, recording 32 shots.

He needs a center to feed him…

Credit to petey for handling pass and making play to hogs, but real play made by garland creating all the space … what a pass!

Garland is money off the backboards.

Now you are definitely sounding like Nighthawk. Who the (frank) is suggesting anything like that?

Good grief you are going downhill on here so fast.

Still sounding like yourself 👍🏻

I agree with Don that his issues are mental. I said it enough times last year as well. You don't have a clue what people are saying because of your tunnel vision.

The last 3 games I have criticized parts of his game. You being Nighthawk 2.0 has you doing the same routine... flipping the comments to fit your obsession. Even the 2024 season Nighthawk isnt as bad as you.

- boonerbuck

I’m just warming up. Nothing in his game is standing out to justify 7m/yr.

Sorry for bringing you up. You haven't been ridiculous this season.

I don't have a problem with the criticisms. It's the childish hysterical posts, projecting opinions not expressed and revisionism I get tired of.

There is plenty to go around if wanna critique players. Still not impressed with the PP as usual. Too static & predictable & not dangerous. Forced passes etc.

It’s still early but not seeing a 60min identity yet which they had found last season. Staples & such still a work in progress.

A lot less clusterfvck from the 3rd pairing with Forbort out.

It wasn’t Forbort to blame it was Juulson and before that Vinny D. But now he looks better with Brannstrom balancing as PMD.

Petey’s been coming on in increments every game. I hope to see his A game soon. Maybe when he pots one he’ll get on a roll.

It's happened several times already this year and is easy to miss, but the reason that goal happens is because 3 Flyers were collapsing in on Petey, leaving Hoglander all alone.

Petey may not be playing his best, but he still draws in multiple players at a time consistently every game, teams see the guy as a big threat.

I kind of wish they would try running a true PP1 & PP2. With the new guys (Sprong, DeBrusk) they should have enough shooters mix and match and try some new combinations. Early in the year time to try at least as I agree these 4 top forwards & Hughes are stale. Let Hronek earn his raise and run a legitimate PP2.

That’s exactly what they have been doing. Just hasn’t clicked since the 1st game where both units potted one.

I forgot how serious and political this thread can be. Speaking of, how’s the election going?

NDP barely leading Cons. But it looks like NDP will stay in power.
