meh, look at the lineups, habs players don't have much experience, especially on the backend. I don't think it's because of a lack of effort. 2nd period was decent.

they really got energized at the end of the 1st with Caufield's buzzer beater, then continued that in the 2nd. But they're back to chip and chase and looking lost.

Second was decent. First and third period have been poor. They ever going to keep the shots on goal close? Or continue to be dominated in the shots/chances department. Lucky to have the two wins they do IMO.

Edit: maybe a top 5 pick again wouldn’t be the end of the world.

Varlamov has been very solid, the habs did get some high-quality chances.
