JT's dream was never to win a Starley Cup, it has always been to own a Kombucha bar in his house in Toronto.

Anyone here know anything about the NFL salary cap?

From what I've been reading, the Browns may get salary cap relief from Deshawn Watson's contract - if and only if they insured it against injury. And that amount is what gets carried forward to next year.

Karma. Swwweeeeet, Swweeeeet franking karma.

From the Athletic:

"Now, we can declare what has been suspected for months: This is officially the worst trade in the history of professional sports. Assuming he doesn’t take another snap, Watson’s time here ends with more sexual assault allegations (27) than games played (19). He won nine games as the Browns’ quarterback. The team paid him $25.56 million per victory, with two more years still to go on this interminable contract."

I see the rocket scientist Rangers fan was triggered by my comment about the Rags being pretenders - too funny.

I was at the Marlies game yesterday, Arty looked solid in net, Pare (the Patrick Laine killer) looks good also but he strikes me as an AHL darling NHL nope.

What I noticed the most was the other Nylander brother and I walked away thinking he has zero shot at seeing any NHL time as a Leaf if what I saw is who he is and he doesn't change. Envision all the things people hated about Willy earlier in his career and add a multiplier somewhere between 5 and 10.

Seems disengaged unless he has the puck, soft on the puck, looks lazy out there, appears disinterested in defending, appears afraid of contact etc.....

His skating style and style of play is similar to his brothers.

He's like the wish version of Willy.

This could have just been a one game thing but I feel like it's kinda' who he is right now and I'm not sure he has the time or commitment level to change that to get back to the level he would need to if he wants to be a full time NHL player. Maybe he's just accepted that he is an AHL player?

All eyes around the league will be on the Blue and White tonight.

Both teams coming off a loss.

Patches collides with Atkinson and they both explode into a shower of bone fragments and torn tendons.

If you are looking to go to a Leafs game, tonight is a good one.

Tons of tickets still available on Ticketmaster - and I'm predicting prices will drop big time by 5 pm.

- drexel

Probably does, he's also a -2.

I saw what I saw & shared it.

Pare got 3 goals yesterday in the game I was at and is a +4.

As many others have said stats don't tell the full story.

Have you actually bought any of these when you said it has dropped?

I’ve looked before and it has never dropped under face value.

I think most people just put them up for re sale over face value and if they don’t sell they just go to the game.

Okay so for 6 games including tonight we have forslund, the kraken play by play announcer.

And some former NHLers as analysts. Thomas Hickey being one.

Games on Amazon prime exclusively.

I really enjoyed the broadcast last monday when they had the first game on prime. Much better than when TNT started last year.

There's already tons of tickets listed for tonight under face value.

Section 304, row 4: $102.43. Those are greens.

Tons of greens under face value.

Section 102, row 28: $168.70. Waaaaaay under face value for reds.

Chris Cuthbert is by far my favourite announcer

Haven’t heard this guy announcing games, it makes a big difference for me.

Looking forward to seeing it.

Yes but for a 7:30 game on Monday?

Personally I go to games for the atmosphere. And in my experience Monday games are pretty brutal sometimes.

My biggest pet peeve with him is he will make a mistake and will say “OEL got hit hard on that play” and they will show the replay and it’s OEL hitting the other guy…you can tell in his voice he messed up but he just tries to go along with what he said before and ignores what actually happened.

He does it multiple times a game.
